Riley + Tyler’s Barn At Gibbet Hill Wedding
DJ Sam Lurie rocked the house at the Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA. The ceremony and dinner/dancing reception were simply stunning. Some of Sam’s favorite take away moments were:
“I love big weddings! When I saw Riley and Tyler had almost 200 people, I knew it was going to be an amazing night. From the moment people started coming into the ceremony, you could feel the excitement in the room! No one seemed nervous, and everyone seemed ready to celebrate as one new family. Riley was such a sweetie, taking the time to thank, hug, and welcome everyone to the wedding. Love was in the air for sure!
I’m not sure if anyone besides me and the bride and groom know this, but the guests had a surprise treat in store after dinner and dessert. About an hour after opening up the dance floor, 2 food trucks pulled up just outside the venue. One was serving fresh, warm, breaded chicken and sauces, and the other was a traditional ice cream truck. Boy were these huge hits! I can’t recall a time I ever DJ’d for a packed dance floor where everyone was eating popsicles, push-pops, and eclairs, but it was oh so sweet!”
